ICSE (Class-X) Poetry Syllabus for 2022
For the 2022 ICSE, CISCE has reduced the syllabus of English Paper-2. Students have to answer a question from poetry carrying 16 marks.

For the 2022 ICSE, CISCE has reduced the syllabus of English Paper-2. Students have to answer a question from poetry carrying 16 marks.
CISCE’s reduced syllabus for the ISC or Class-XII examination in 2022 prescribes five textbooks. The Poetry section has 20% weightage in the final exam.
CISCE has reduced the syllabus of English for the ISC 2022 Examination. The weightage on poetry is 18.75% in the English Paper-2 examination.
In the final exam of the English paper for Class-IX, 50% weightage will be given to the Literature section. It amounts to a total of 40 marks.
CBSE has given special emphasis on the Literature section in 2021-22. In the final exam, 50% of questions will be asked from this section.
For the 2021-22 academic year, the final examination paper will comprise of 25% questions from the Literature section.
In the 2021-22 academic session, the final examination will comprise a fair number of questions from the Literature section.
For the academic year 2021-22, CBSE has given 27.5% weightage of marks on the Literature section. It amounts to a total of 22 marks from this section.
In the 2021-22 academic year, CBSE has decided to ask questions carrying a total of 44 marks from the Literature section.
